Easily charge on the road

As EV popularity has increased, more independent EV charging solutions have arrived. To find the closest charging point for you, we recommend using the PlugShare app. If you charge on the road, we’re able to reimburse the cost to you. Once you’ve finished charging, a tax invoice will be sent to you. Upload this tax invoice to the portal to receive your reimbursement and GST benefits.

Charging at home

Charging at home is a convenient option to stay topped up. Keep in mind that currently the ATO doesn’t allow reimbursements for charging your vehicle via a home charger.

Inside Edge constantly monitors changes to legislation and will provide updates as they happen.

Use comprehensive insurance

As part of our novated lease program, we cover insurance and cover renewals so you don’t have to.

If you choose to organise your own insurance, you’ll need to ensure the insurance is updated and paid annually to cover the entire duration of the lease. You can claim reimbursement for insurance payments paid yourself.

Quality maintenance

Servicing: when servicing your EV, it’s essential to check the manufacturer’s guidelines and service only at an authorised service outlet. Reimbursements for servicing can be lodged via the portal.

Windscreens: if your windscreen is damaged, it needs to be inspected and then repaired or replaced. Windscreens are often covered by comprehensive insurance, so check your policy before contacting a windscreen repairer or your car’s service provider.

Tyres: to maintain safety on the road, your tyres should be replaced in line with your car manufacturer’s recommendations. We also recommend checking your tyre pressure and for signs of wear each month.

Renew registration and CTP

As a novated lease driver, your car is registered in your name. Registration and CTP will be mailed to your home or registered email address.

These payments will need to be paid by you and then reimbursed via the portal.

To gain reimbursement, simply login and follow the prompts to enter and submit your claim!:

If you don’t receive notice of your registration and CTP, contact your relevant state government website, and insurance company immediately.
